We would like to introduce you to enjoyOpera, a platform that enhances your listening experience by providing live text display of opera librettos alongside your favorite recordings. This innovative feature allows you to follow along precisely with what is being sung at any given moment.

Enjoy Opera simplifies the process by eliminating the need to search through libretto booklets. You can immerse yourself in the music while simultaneously understanding the text, all without distraction. Of course, singing along is also encouraged if you wish.

Currently, enjoyOpera offers access to approximately 5,000 opera recordings, with librettos available in various languages. Our aim is to expand this library steadily, with a target to complete the collection by the end of the year.

We are beginning with the librettos from Wagner’s 'Der Ring des Nibelungen,' featuring Sir Georg Solti conducting the Vienna Philharmonic, recorded by Decca in 1997 and 2013. These recordings are available commercially should you not already own this reference performance.

What is the reason for starting with just these four recordings?

• The process of accurately synchronizing subtitles with each CD is complex and expensive.
• This reference recording exemplifies how enjoyOpera can provide significant additional value for users—an experience we are confident you will appreciate.
• Following this initial phase, we plan to launch a crowdfunding campaign to fund the development of synchronized subtitles for a broader range of recordings.
